Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, commonly known as "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment increases the stats linearly.

Players can recycle six items at a time to get a gauge of the upgraded component of each item. The cost of recycling items increases according to their rarity and level.

Upgrade components

An item upgrade in Guild Wars 2 is a process that can increase the effectiveness of your weapon and armor. This can be done through a number of means such as using upgrade components and upgrading an item's mark levels or rarity. Additionally, many items can be reforged, which could increase their stats.
