It can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.

The design is also more appealing than the competition. It features a sleek, high-end piece that looks like an toy, not an obnoxious and loud robot. In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. It comes with a huge LCD screen, which is useful for setting up schedules or changing settings. This isn't a necessary feature for the majority of people, but it's one that can help you keep the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design is among the top in the market, but it's expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks beautiful and can be hidden when not in use. The main reason to buy the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive as well. It's the only robovac that I've tested that does a good job picking up dirt from floors that aren't. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

But the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robot vacuums. This means it could get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It also can't climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a docking station to create a clean zone for plush carpets.

Eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of producing robot vacuums that strike a good balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpet floors, as well as mopping functions for a low cost. It's easy to setup, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app takes you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. It is recommended to keep the dock near a power outlet and plenty of room for it to move around, however.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be placed under sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design isn't as ostentatious compared to some rival models. It has a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The way the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the immovable objects in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and where it can't access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life while offering better performance on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't need to be empty as often and automatic floor cleaner it's less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
