Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item level upgrade, like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.

The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item upgrader mod to a better quality. To produce them, you need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next Success result is repeated. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they're opened they show a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank accounts. Additionally players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are a variety of methods to get the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an Best item upgrader with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack with one another, and can only be added to one item at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be applied in addition to a minimum level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve an exact roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
