This is perfect for mothers who breastfeed! It's also lightweight, making it easy to move around the house during nap time and when traveling.

We love that it's made of soft materials that have breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and ease of use. It comes in charcoal or oak and a range of melange fabrics that will blend with most decor styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed with the legs securely clicking into the frame and the zips securely secured for baby-safety. It took Anna around 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer support number in case you have any problems.

Our testers were impressed by the ease of access offered by the side panel that can be moved up and down with a single push of a button. This was especially helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick up their baby without disturbing them.

The side panel can be removed by itself, but it's not advised as it increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. The safety locking system ensures that the side panel will stay down if it is attached correctly to the mattress of the parent. This is a great feature to have for peace mind, especially when you're breastfeeding and need frequent nighttime feedings.

Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases or beds with drawers. It has a tilting feature to help reflux babies, and the ability to rock to calm them after eating. It's also very spacious and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it does come with an extensive instruction manual. It's heavier than other side-sleepers but it's still very mobile and can be moved from room room easily. It's small enough to be able to fit into a travel cot bedside bag when not in use which is a bonus in the event that you have to transport it. The only issue our testers noticed was that the side panel didn't flex as much as the other models, making it difficult to see your baby from your own bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great choice when you're looking for a crib that grows with your child.
