WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases item upgrader kit level by 3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item level upgrade (https://maps.google.com.pr/) upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and is accessible at any time to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear current, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

The cost of upgrades will be based on the current level of the gear being upgraded but they will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment from other sources. For example upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items which can be used to improve the quality of weapons tools, armor, and other accessories. Players can purchase them from item upgraders NPCs in a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any weapon, tool or armor. button, which displays an image of the item at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot of the item upgrading and the current level of the item upgrader mod. For example, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of Flightstones or the crests used. After an item has been upgraded to a certain degree, it can be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lower amount of the two currency types.

A lot of locations offer upgraders for items in addition to the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade item discount as well as a chance to get a brand new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases when more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players finish certain achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at start unlike Cromwell from Baldur's gate II. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are available only through a variety means. This is both a benefit and a drawback.

In Season 3, a number of new features have been added to the upgrade system. After a player has earned an upgrade to a particular item level for a particular armor slot, upgrading additional items to the same level will cost less even when they are part of a different gear set.

The discount is available to all accounts. Similarly, the amount of Harbinger Crests required for upgrades is also cut and is not available until players reach certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

Players have several options for upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more specialized and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system that was introduced in 10.1, and come in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests are only able to be used on equipment of a particular rank, and each rank has its own requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and most straightforward upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complex requires as many as 20 crests based on the type of equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through finishing tasks at the appropriate level. This could be by engaging in outdoor activities or taking on dungeons and raids of all difficulties to get equipment of lower tier or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons that have a high difficulty for endgame gear. The crests can later be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to obtain the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.

The new currency system isn't complicated to use, but it will bring some changes to the upgrade process. Once a piece of gear attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it will no longer require Flightstones. This is to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters, instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

Another notable change is that crests have one usage, so it's important to use them wisely. For instance it's Best item upgrader to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the best gear you have available and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan to create. This is particularly applicable to rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character that will be able to benefit from the account-wide discount if all slots are filled with high-quality gear.
