WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an Item level upgrade by +3. A random extra substat is also increased with each upgrade.

Upgrades are items that are used to improve the quality of weapons, tools, armor, and other items. Players can purchase them from NPCs of item upgraders for a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor using the help of The button will display the preview of an item's next level of upgrade, in the event that there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item and the current item level upgrade level. For example, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves. This change lets players upgrade their equipment to the highest possible ilvl on all of their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests only have one usage and it's crucial to use them properly.
