Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum cleaners reviews vacuum-mop combos can be customised using a specialized app to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles will stop it from running into wires, furniture or even stray toys. These features are essential for my home filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to spot pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is the highest power of any vacuum we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping function is impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide an intense clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting system, that will raise the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can just set it and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've test.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features makes it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The high price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair with no knots. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. In addition, its mops aren't as capable at scrubbing away staining that is as strong as those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. The base station must be emptied and the water tank and dust bag must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads, that are bought separately, are required to be replaced regularly too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can purchase but its high price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up is a mighty suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It even has mop rollers that clean itself while moving and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the bot and is constantly supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes, or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked in by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos The S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. However, if you do opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to use their own choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot vacuum reviews for an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum but it does have some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've created. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the area.

Like all Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat manner. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be an issue for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
