WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor. Upgrades are items that can be used for tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They are purchased by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with a The button will show a preview of an item's next upgrade level, if there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot of the item and the current level of the item. For example, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves. This change allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest level possible on all of their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

Another notable modification is that crests have one use and it's crucial to use them wisely. It's Best item upgrade to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the highest-quality gear that you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly relevant for items like rings and trinkets that occupy multiple slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
