The upgrade of items is a crucial aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item upgrader kit and the ability to enchant.

Weapon

When the weapon reaches its maximum level of improvement it can be modified to give different bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. Many of these upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects vary depending on the rarity of the weapon.

Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Armor

The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with a base defense between 67-77 and it goes on.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters and chests and crates. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

If you have a trinket that needs to be upgraded then place it in the Anvil to do so. This will affect the trinket which is random, either increasing or strengthening its effects. You can reorge the Trinket multiple times as often as you like, but it will always have an impact that is different from the one you had when you forged it.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
