WoW Upgrades - The item level upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a an increase in specific stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. A random additional substat is also increased with each upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item upgrading is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for the latter due to the need to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade item their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current item level upgrade level of the item being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. For example, upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that can be used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased from item upgraders NPCs for various currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which will show a preview of the item level upgrade when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the item slot, and the current item level. For example, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or crests that are used. Another important change is that crests only have one purpose, so it's important to make use of them in a responsible manner. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear you can locate and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The discount on the account will only apply when all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
