World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses

The item upgrade is a form of enchantment that increases the stats in certain weapons or armor. This includes secondary stats such as Leech or Speed.

Leveling

Players can also utilize a special mechanic, Eliminate, to remove any Level Up option they have on their equipment or weapons. These bonuses, also known as Set Bonuses, are similar to and sometimes superior to Effects. While it's not explained in the game's universe why the armor sets have to be worn together to create these extra effects, they can provide an interesting change of pace when playing the game.
