What is an Item Upgrader?

The item upgrader allows players to increase the quality of their equipment. To upgrade items, you'll need the appropriate currencies and items. For armor and weapons, this includes Valorstones and crests.

Other upgrades, like Hot Potato Books, give weapons a boost in stats or allow them to be used in Dungeons. These upgrades are generally cash-based items.

Leveling

An upgrader for items allows players to increase the quality of their equipment from a variety of sources. Based on the type of item and upgrade track, it costs Valorstones or Crests to raise the level of an item. Weapons typically cost more than bracers or gloves for instance.

It is also possible to upgrade items by purchasing them in the game. Upgrade shards are accessible through defeating bosses in any dungeon. These shards can be used to upgrade weapons and armor sets, allowing them to be upgraded to their highest level. However, they can only be upgraded once.
