This robot vacuum-mop makes an excellent choice for apartment dwellers as it has an economized docking system and comes with its own trash bin. The app lets you set different modes and monitor cleaning, plus the mopping feature is awe-inspiring.

Its mapping and obstacle avoidance are impressive, and it scrubs very well, picking up pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties itself and self-cleans and replenishes its water tank.

Roomba Combination from iRobot

The iRobot Combo is a robot that can mop and vacuum. The iRobotCombo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with an app that's mobile and easier to use but it's an excellent alternative. In our tests it was consistently able to remove dirt of all sizes and types from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't among the most advanced in the world, lacking structured light and other features like LiDAR, but it still was able to avoid most collisions with furniture and clutter.

The Combo features most of the same functions as the j7 Plus with the addition of new acoustic sensors onboard to identify the type of floor and AI-powered navigation. However, it isn't able to set suction power manually. It's also smaller than the vac-only model, and doesn't come with self-emptying docks.

The Combo is one of my favorite options for homes with a lot of space. Its sleek design is also among the most attractive I've seen in the industry. The clean, matte black plastic looks better than the majority of competitors' glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's small features--like a leather tab that can open the onboard bin and a shelf inside the dock that can hold additional bags--are more elegant than the majority of its competitors'. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and set up Keep-Out Zones.

Roborock

While Roborock is comparatively new to the robot autonomous vacuum (look at these guys) and mop market but it's already established its mark because of its innovative cleaning technologies. The brand's vacuums feature industry-leading suction, while mopping systems make use of vibrating mops to scrub floors clean. You can also customize the cleaning routine of the bot by making use of a variety of scheduling and mapping features.

Another impressive Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance which allows the robot vacuum with mop to see objects smaller than its height. The RCV 5 is very easy to use, and despite being quite heavy, at around 4kg, you won't have difficulty moving it around furniture. The Beko RCV3 is a fashionable and well-equipped hybrid robot vacuum/mop that does a fantastic job of keeping floors clean and span.
